The International Club strives to encourage friendship between U.S. students and international students, promote interest in current events and contemporary world affairs, and to foster interest in the cultures of the countries represented on campus.
The club offers numerous activities throughout the year, such as hiking, karaoke, bowling, trips to Canal Park, and many more. They also hold two major events each year: International Taste of UMD (Fall semester) and Feast of Nations (Spring semester).
International Taste of UMD is an opportunity for students from a variety of cultures to make their finest cuisines from their countries and share them with the UMD campus and community.
Feast of Nations is a night of delicious international cuisine and wonderful performances showcasing the cultures of many countries.
