International students are eligible to work up to 20 hours per week on campus during the semester and up to 40 hours per week on campus during summer/winter breaks.
Employment information can be accessed via the Office of Human Resources website. Once on the job search website, be sure to:
- Select "Duluth" as the job location
- If the job is during the semester, be sure to select "part-time" since international students can only work up to 20 hours/week on-campus during the semester.
- International students cannot work off-campus without prior work authorization from ISS or the U.S. government
International students are not eligible for work-study, a U.S. government financial aid program. International students can only apply for non work-study jobs on campus.
J-1 students must report their on-campus employment to ISS before they begin working.
